Camping trip

Hello all,

We have really enjoyed the lovely weather that we have been having lately.

James and I went on a day and a half camping trip Fri and Sat of this week down to Shunda Lake (Also called Fish lake). This is the lake that the church is going to be having its camping trip at later this month (July 24, 25 and 26) We had a great time camping, canoeing, fishing, etc. There was a fair representation of wildlike around. I was really awed by God's creation as we saw loons, a Bald Eagle, some other unidentified birds of prey, many dear, etc. We had quite good weather even though it was raining when we left Edmonton on Friday. Saturday was gorgeous and very uplifting to the soul. Shunda Lake is in the Nordegg area of Alberta and is at the foot of the Rockies.

Pastor Charles Hollingsworth from Lakeview Baptist Church in Coldlake is going to be our guest speaker during our campout. Charles is very familiar with the Nordegg area and will be guiding those that want to hike up Mount Coliseum on Friday.

We hope that many of you will be able to join us on our campout later this month.
